YOU'RE NOT ALONE
When worry, rituals, or big emotions take over
Your child is struggling, and you may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated or unsure what to do next. You may find yourself worrying about whether things will get better and what this means for your child’s future. Trusting your instincts and reaching out for support is an important step toward understanding what your child is experiencing and finding a path forward together.
Perhaps you've tried every strategy you know, yet anxiety, OCD, or other challenges continue to show up in ways that interfere with your child's life and your family's well-being. You may notice growing worries, rituals, avoidance, meltdowns, tics, or changes in behavior that don't ease with reassurance or time.
Your child does not need you to have all the answers. They need you to notice, listen, and help them find a way forward.

THE PROCESS
How Child Therapy Works
Child therapy is active, structured, and grounded in evidence-based strategies; while also being warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
I take time to get to know your child and engage them through creative play, art, movement, or other activities that match their interests and developmental level; creating a sense of safety, connection, and positive energy in the room or over the screen.
As a parent, you play a critical role. You'll learn the same skills your child is learning, so you can reinforce progress at home, school, and in daily life.
-
Sessions are tailored to your child's age, interests, and developmental level; never one-size-fits-all.
-
Every technique is grounded in research; CBT, ERP, ACT, and more. Adapted for children in a child-friendly way.
-
Parents learn the same skills so progress extends beyond the therapy session into everyday life.
-
Therapy honors your child's strengths, temperament, and unique challenges at every step.
THE JOURNEY
The Transformative Path
A structured, compassionate process designed to help your child move from feeling controlled by anxiety, OCD, or big emotions to feeling more confident, capable, and in control.
Understand
Begin with an initial evaluation to understand current challenges while identifying strengths. Together, we develop a treatment plan with clear goals and recommendations for evidence-based care.
Practice Skills
Your child learns and practices skills during each session in a child-friendly, supportive way; one step at a time. Skills are individualized, compassion-driven, and reinforced through practice at home and school.
Move Forward with Confidence
Over time, anxiety and OCD no longer "boss" your child around. Your child builds flexibility, confidence, and resilience and as a parent, you feel steadier, more hopeful, and more present again.
EVIDENCE-BASED METHODS
Therapeutic Approaches
My work with children is grounded in research-supported treatments, each selected based on your child's specific challenges, developmental stage, and needs.
NEURODIVERGENT-AFFIRMING
Adapted for Every Mind
Treatment is thoughtfully adapted for neurodivergent children, with attention to the whole child; not just the diagnosis.
WHEN A CHILD ISN'T READY
What if my child isn't ready for therapy?
Some children feel hesitant, resistant, or overwhelmed by the idea of therapy. In these cases, meaningful progress can still happen. Parent-led approaches allow families to begin making changes while respecting a child's readiness.
SPACE therapy (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) can reduce a child's anxiety or OCD symptoms even when the child is not actively participating in therapy.
