OVER TWENTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, TRULY PERSONAL CARE
FINDING THE PATH FORWARD
Support for Meaningful Change.
You may be here because you, your child, or a family member is struggling with anxiety, OCD, or a related condition. You may have tried to manage it on your own, hoping it would ease with time. Instead, worries, intrusive thoughts, rituals, tics, other repetitive behaviors or avoidance may have grown stronger and more exhausting.
You want things to feel more manageable again. You want relief, clarity, and support you can trust.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I can help.
"Witnessing clients take steps along their path toward transformative change and move toward lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work."
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Hi, I’m Shauna!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, tic disorders, and related conditions across the lifespan. I bring over 20 years of experience in mental health, including private practice, community mental health, and school settings, and I remain deeply passionate about this work.
Therapy with me is active, individualized, and informed by the latest research. I provide structure and guidance while remaining flexible and responsive to the individual needs and experiences each person brings to therapy.
Clients often describe me as warm, engaging, and easy to connect with. I create a supportive, down-to-earth environment while helping clients develop strategies for long-term relief.
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative and built on trust. My own personal experiences deepen my empathy and understanding as I help clients stay focused on taking steps toward a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
MY APPROACH
Evidence-based care,
thoughtfully adapted.
I provide LGBTQ-affirming and neurodiversity-affirming care, and adapt evidence-based treatment to support clients of diverse identities, neurotypes, and lived experiences; including autistic individuals and those with ADHD.
I am committed to staying current with the latest research and best practices through ongoing continuing education, advanced training, and professional reading.
Treatment is paced thoughtfully. You won't be asked to face everything at once.

ABOUT SHAUNA
Beyond the therapy room.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy being a mom to my two kids, spending time with my husband, friends and family, swimming laps, getting back into tennis, eating sushi, trying new foods and traveling.
I also love to nerd out on all things OCD and anxiety reading books, diving into new research, and connecting with my therapist friends.
Fun fact: I played varsity tennis in high school and was ranked in Southern California USTA for my age division. One of my favorite experiences was traveling to Europe with a group of players from across the U.S. to compete against European players.
"I feel grateful for the people in my life and for the everyday moments that make life meaningful."
